Darren Savage’s practising certificate for 2024/2025 is subject to the following conditions:
- Unless or until Darren Savage has demonstrated to the satisfaction of the SRA that they have taken the necessary steps to maintain their competence, Darren Savage may continue to carry on legal activities as a solicitor in connection with the provision of legal services but only under the supervision of a manager or employee of American International Group UK Limited, who is a lawyer and has practised as such for a minimum of three years.
- If Darren Savage has not demonstrated their competence to the satisfaction of the SRA by 30 March 2025, then Darren Savage shall not carry on legal activities as a solicitor in connection with the provision of any legal services unless or until they have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the SRA that they have taken the necessary steps to maintain their competence
Reasons/basis
The above conditions are necessary in the public interest. They are reasonable and proportionate having regard to the purposes set out in regulation 7 of the SRA Authorisation of Individuals Regulations, and the regulatory objectives and principles governing regulatory activities as contained in section 28 of the Legal Services Act 2007.
