On 15 February 2020, Mr Bashir, distributed an indecent photograph, namely one Category B video of a child, contrary to sections 1(1)(b) and 6 of the Protection of Children Act 1978 and on the same date had in his possession three extreme pornographic images which were grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character contrary to sections 63(1), 7(d) and 67(3) of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008.
The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
